Monthly Fellowship Opportunities

Messy Church

On the second Saturday of the month during the school year we gather from 4 to 6 pm in the Vestry for an afternoon of story, crafts, worship, and supper. This is a time for all ages to get together to worship, eat, create and have fun in a church context. To read more about Messy Church, click here.

Alliance

Alliance is a women’s group which meets for lunch and a speaker or trip at noon on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from September to May. Special events include the Daffodil Luncheon and fashion show and the Christmas Tea. Contact Dorothy Turner at 866-2181 for more information.

Movie Night

Save the last Friday of the month for an enjoyable evening of pizza, movies, and discussion. At 6:00 pm, we gather in the MacKenzie Room to eat and to watch a DVD movie on our large screen TV. Movies are chosen for their philosophical content, and a lively discussion follows each viewing.  To read more about Movie Night, click here.

Book Night

 7:00 pm on the 1st Friday of the month in The Gathering Place. Each month the group chooses a book to read and discuss. The time together is often quite lively! Books we have read include Three Cups of Tea, The Help, Mennonite in a Little Black Dress, and The Search for God at Harvard. To see our plans for this year, click here.

State of Grace

Held on the third Monday of the month at 5:30 pm in the Gathering Place, State of Grace is a women’s book and discussion group. Books read this year include Cutting for Stone, The Lacuna, and Still Alice.

Seasonal Fellowship Opportunities

Advent Workshop

On the first Sunday in Advent, our congregation stays after church for a few hours of fellowship and creativity! Ornaments, wreaths, balsam pillows and more are lovingly created as we prepare for the Christmas season at church and at home!

Lenten Workshop

Easter Eggs! Patience. Patience. Patience. . . During Lent, old and young gather to make the traditional Pysanky Easter eggs through the hot wax procedure. Join us and learn a new lesson in the meaning of resurrection!
