The Reverend Lornagrace Grenfell is in her eleventh year of ministry here at our church.  She grew up in Connecticut and graduated from Wm. Hall High School in West Hartford.  She holds degrees from Mount Holyoke College (cum laude) and Bangor Theological Seminary.  Rev. Lorna’s first career was in education, and she taught classes in Connecticut, Maryland and Missouri until eventually becoming a school administrator.  After ordination by the United Methodist Church in 1993, Rev. Lorna served churches in Newfield and Saco, Maine, and in Monson and Wilbraham, Massachusetts.  As part of the Bishop’s executive staff in Boston, she served the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church as Council Director for seven years by facilitating the program life of over 500 churches in New England.   In 2001, Rev. Lorna tried retirement by living off the coast on Outer Long Island and teaching in their one room schoolhouse for five years. It was from there that CUF lured her back to full time ministry!  Rev. Lorna has three grown children and five grandchildren.
