Tiffany grew up in Winslow, Maine, as did her husband David. After high school she attended Ithaca College, where she majored in Music Education and Clarinet Performance. Upon finishing college, she returned to Maine, where she joined David in Kennebunk, and taught k-8 general music, band and chorus. During their ten years in Kennebunk they married, had two babies (Ainsley and Ian), and Tiffany completed her Masters Degree at the University of Southern Maine in Educational Leadership.

Tiffany and her family relocated to Orono in 2008 when David became a professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of Maine. Tiffany has worked at Asa Adams School in Orono since they moved. Currently she is teaching 2nd grade literacy and is the literacy coach for the building. In her free time she gives private piano lessons and directs the Russ and Barbara Bodwell Hand Bell Choir and the Young Voices Choir.
