Sarah Marx, originally from Camden Maine, holds a Master’s degree in Education from Boston University and an undergraduate degree in Comparative Literature from Harvard University. Sarah has been working with children and youth for most of her adult life. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, as well as a licensed teacher and school counselor (K-12). Some of her most recent positions include Director of Religious Education at the Unitarian Church of Montreal (2007-2008), Spanish teacher at Orono High School (2010-2014) and Director of the Wilson Center at the UMaine campus (2013-present). Sarah is married to Brian McGill, a biology professor at UMaine, and has two sons, Eli and Jasper. In her free time she likes to swim, cross-country ski, read, sing, and hang-out with her family. She especially loves musical theater.
