Update from the Worship Team: Plans for October

The Worship Team is very excited to begin our collaboration with our new ministers. In the interim, however, we are very enthusiastic about the people leading our worship in the next few weeks. First of all, a huge thank you to Rachel Dobbs for being our leader in worship in September and
for sharing such thoughtful and inspirational sermons with us. We are blessed to have Rachel among us. We are equally blessed to have Emily Taylor who will be our worship leader for October. Sharing the leadership with Emily on October 13 will be Maulian Dana, Penobscot Nation ambassador, who will give both the children’s message and the sermon. On October 20, Robert Shetterly, Americans Who Tell the Truth artist, will deliver both messages. On October 27, the service will feature some special music from the current Broadway musical, Come From Away. This is a powerful show about what happened in Gander, Newfoundland when the U.S. airspace was shut down on Sept. 11. Our spiritual appetites will not go wanting this fall.
