End Violence Together March & Rally
Part of the national Campaign Nonviolence

West Market Square, Bangor
Rain location: Columbia Street Project, 45 Columbia St.
1:00 pm – Tabling, drumming, and children’s activities
1:30 pm – Speakers and music
2:00 pm – March to Penobscot Bridge and back
3:00 pm – Closing ceremony
Groups who wish to table need to bring their own tables and chairs. We will have someone stay with the tables during the march.
Children’s activities, including mask-making, will be led by the Maine Discovery Museum.
There will be four short speeches that will make the connections between all forms of violence.
Music will be provided and led by Voices for Peace.
The March route will be from West Market Square, up State Street to Exchange Street, then to Oak Street and the Penobscot Bridge, then back to West Market Square.
Parking: Free throughout downtown Bangor on Saturdays.
