The Wilson Center for Spiritual Exploration and Multifaith Dialogue in Orono, Maine is seeking a Director for the Center. This position is halftime and will begin July 1, 2017. (The job description may be found on the Center’s website: www.umaine.edu/wilsoncenter. )
The Wilson Center is a non-profit organization that promotes spiritual exploration and multifaith dialogue as a means for building peaceful, just communities. The goals of the Wilson Center include:
•Working for peace, both locally and globally
•Reaching out to all faiths and traditions and those who are spiritual but not religious in order to build true interfaith programs
•Designing (or cooperating with others in) local and global service projects that have meaning for our community
•Enhancing communication across lines of ethnicity, culture, religion, theology, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and economic class
.Building ethics discussions, worship services, film series, dinner and luncheon programs, and other spiritual or social events that speak to the needs and desires of the UMaine community and the greater Orono/Bangor area.
